1. The removal of waste material from living organisms is called as excretion. The movement of material from one part or section of the body to another part or section of the body is called as secretion.
2. Kidneys, lungs, gallbladder, skin, ureters and urine bladder are excretory organs of the human body. Thyroid glands, pituitary glands, adrenal glands and parathyroid glands are secretory organs of the human body.
3. Excretion is generally an active process Or excretion is active in nature. Secretion is generally a passive process Or secretion is passive in nature.
4. Excretion excretes substances and it is mainly involved in the elimination of the body wastes. Secretion secrets substances and they are involved in the metabolism of the body.
5. It is mostly body waste. It is important material which can be metabolized and used by our body.
6. Excreted material by the humans are urine, carbon dioxide, sweat, tears etc. Secreted materials by the humans are saliva, enzymes and hormones.
