1. A system which regulates the activity of cells or organs and is composed of glands that secretes or produces hormones or chemical substances into body is referred as Endocrine system. A system which regulates growth and development, tissue function and metabolism, a group of glands that produces hormone is referred as Exocrine gland.
2. Endocrine system contains ductless glands. Exocrine system contains or do not contain ducts.
3. Complex type of a gland. Simple type of a gland.
4. Hormones are the secretary products of the Endocrine system Enzymes, sebum, mucus and sweat are the secretary products of the Exocrine system.

 

5. Endocrine system is mainly divided into two types i.e. Primary endocrine gland and Secondary endocrine gland. Exocrine system is mainly divided into many type i.e. Apocrine glands, unicellular exocrine glands, multicellular exocrine glands, mixed glands, merocrine glands, and serous glands.
6. Examples of endocrine system includes Adrenal glands, thyroid gland and pituitary gland. Examples of exocrine system includes sweat gland, salivary gland and Gastric gland.
