Difference between Electricity and Magnetism
Electricity and Magnetism are interrelated concepts. The difference between them is as follows:
Electricity and Magnetism are the relative and interesting concepts in the electronics. Both electricity and magnetism are depends on the charges only difference is that electricity is due to flow or presence of charges and magnetism is due to moving charges only. The difference between them is as follows.
Electricity | Magnetism |
1) Electricity is due to both presence of static and motion of charges.
2) Electricity is independent of magnetism. 3) It is invisible force. 4) It does not have repulsive force. 5) It has monopoles. 6) It is associated with positive and negative charges. 7) It is used in lightning, heating, etc

1) Magnetism is due to moving charges only.
2) Magnetism is depends on electricity. 3) It is the outcome of current electricity. 4) It has repulsive force. 5) It has dipole. 6) It is associated with north and south pole. 7) It is used in compass needle, MRI machines, etc |
