1. A phylum of sea walnuts or comb jellies that are diploblastic, radially symmetrical, contains comb plates and use cilia for the locomotion is known as Ctenophora. A phylum of stinging creature that are radially symmetrical, diploblastic with no segmentation, no organ system and contains cup or umbrella shaped body is known as Cnidaria.

Structure and Symmetry

2. Organisms of Ctenophora contains comb jellies and show biradial symmetry. Organisms of Cnidaria contains stinging structure and show radial symmetry.

Polyp or Medusa stage

3. Ctenophora shows only medusa stage. Cnidaria shows both medusa and polyp stage.

Digestive system

4. It has complete digestive system. It has incomplete digestive system.

Classes

5. Ctenophora is divided into two classes such as Nuda and Tentaculata. Cnidaria is divided into five classes such as Hydrozoa, Cubozoa, Staurozoa, Scyphozoa and Enthozoa.
