Definition

1. A tumor growth which forms without invading other parts of the body, this non-cancerous growth is a Benign tumor. A Tumor growth which is unstoppable and invades other parts of the body is a Malignant tumor.

Tumor removing

2. This type of tumor can be removed easily. This type of tumor is difficult to remove.

Cells

3. In the benign tumor, mostly cell are normal. In the malignant tumor, mostly cells contain abnormal chromosome and abnormal DNA.

Cancerous cell or Not

4. This type tumor contains non-cancerous cells. This type of tumor contains cancerous cells.

Treatment

5. With the help of surgery, benign tumor can be treated. With the help of chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments or radiation therapy, malignant tumor can be treated.

Spreading

6. This type of tumor cannot spread to the other parts of the body. This type of tumor can spread to the body either through the lymphatic tissue or bloodstream.
