3) Comment on sprinkler system of irrigation?
Ans. It is a system of irrigation which is more useful on the uneven piece of land where sufficient water is not available for irrigation. The system for sprinkler irrigation have perpendicular pipes with rotating nozzles on top, joined to the main pipeline
at regular intervals. When water is allowed to flow through the main pipe under pressure with the help of a pump, it escapes from the rotating nozzles just like rain.
Sprinkle system of irrigation is very useful for plants grown in lawns, coffee plantations and several other cash crops.
