Format of CBQ:
Competency based questions cover only 40% of the total question in CBSE exams. This part is scoring too where students can gain higher score in total. There are mainly multiple choice questions, case-based questions, source based integrated questions in CBQ part. It is specifically designed for developing students’ practical skills and other competencies through their basic learning. At first, students will learn from their practical assessments about specific subject proficiency. They will be asked questions from case studies, reasoning, assertion, objective type and response based categories. They will be given practical situations and real life situations to evaluate their presence of mind, practical knowledge and problem solving skills.
