Combined gas equation Formula
Combining all the gas relation in a single expression which describes relationship between pressure volume and temperature of a given mass of gas.
Boyle’s law :
For a given gas at constant temperature pressure is inversely proportional to the volume (or volume of inversely proportional to the pressure).
Charles law:
Charles law state that At constant pressure , the volume of given mass of a gas is directly proportional to the temperature ( absolute temperature).
V α T……………….(2)
Gay-Lussa’s law :
It state that at constant volume the pressure of given mass of the gas is directly proportional to the temperature (absolute temperature or temperature in Kelvin).
P α T……………………(3)
Avogadro’s law :
It state that at constant pressure and temperature the volume of gas is directly proportional to the number of moles of the gas .
You know about the Avogadro’s number
1 moles of gas = 6.022×10-23
V α n……………….(4)
From equation (1),(2),(3),&(4) we can say that,
PV α T
PV/T = constant
