(ii) What qualities of the mountain does the squirrel appreciate ?
Ans. The mountain is doubtless very big, it can carry forest on its back,it makes a very pretty squirrel track. The Squirrel appreciates these qualities of the mountain .
(iii) What tasks is the mountain unable to perform?
Ans. The mountain is unable to crack a nut that the squirrel can easily.
(iv) Do you like the squirrel’s reasoning? why?
Ans. Yes, I like the squirrel’s reasoning because just as the mountain is large and plays large role ,the squirrel is small and plays small role in the world. Both are justified. The poem tells us that every creature in this world has an important place, role and function. So, we should remember that all that don’t judge others with appearance ,everyone has its own skill and power.

Describe the poem in your own language.
Ans – There’s a fight between a big Mountain and a small Squirrel. The Mountain called the Squirrel little prig as the Squirrel replied and called doubtless very big. Mountain said all kinds of things and weather mixed together to make a year. It’s no disgrace to take each others place. If the Mountain cannot carry forest on it’s back then how the Squirrel can crack the nut.
