A) On the basis of the description of the fair in the text write about a fair visited by you based on the following points.
Ans – Last year I visited a fair in my hometown Alipurduar. It is an annual fair. We call it Dooars Mela. It is held for 10 days in the month of January. And it is the biggest fair held in our town. The preparation starts from 10 to 20 days before the fair. From day 1 you can find various stalls like foods, various utensils, many decorative things, photography, art, agriculture, merry go round, games and many more. There’s also three stages for different things. One is for kids to perform classical dance, one is for folks and cultural songs from our neighbour, and there’s also the main stage for the celebrity singers to perform. What’s special about this fair is that you will find various cultures. I always enjoy the fair. There’s many things to do like eating, playing games, there’s a merry go round, there’s art and photo gallery, and at the end you can enjoy concerts by professionals.
