Answer: Louie is a child with autism. He faces many problems. He gets distracted by people moving around, lights and noises. He gets confused when he has to talk with other students. These are the problems faced by Louie
ii) Why does Louie need a break?
Answer: Louie works a lot. He feels like he is working all the time. Hard work makes him feel exhausted. This makes him feel to take a break.
iii) Does Louie appreciate praise without doing anything? Comment.
Answer: No, Louie does not like to be appreciated without doing anything. He is an honest child and he likes honest people who would tell him his mistake so that he can learn from it. When he does not do something right or gives wrong answers he expects the teacher to tell him the truth and not just give him fake appreciation.
iv) Why does not Louie want to go to ‘Social Skills’ or ‘Speech’?
Answer: To go to ‘Social Skills’ or ‘Speech’ Louie has to miss his class and regular schedule, and he does not like to miss his regular schedule. He wants to be with the other students and learn with his teacher.
v) When did Louie feel scared?
Answer: When Louie was in his preschool, he asked his teacher where his mother was then his teacher said that his mother was gone. These words made him feel sad and scared.

Answer: Louie’s teacher is kind. The teacher helps him in learning, and turns of the lights as Louie does not like it. Louie wants to learn how to try and in this his teacher helps a lot to him. Louie’s teacher is a helping hand to him and keeps him motivated and this is why Louie says that the teacher is good.
