Answer: According to Ibn Battuta, by travelling one gets to meet new people, do exciting things and explore them. When one goes in trouble or faces any problem during the journey, it will also make us learn how to deal with them.

 

5) Did Ibn Battuta discontinue his journey when he fell ill in Constantine? What did his friends do for him?

Answer: Yes, Ibn Battuta fell ill in Constantine. His friends helped him by putting him on his old donkey and hit the donkey from the behind so that he could go quickly down the road.

Answer: Indeed, Ibn Battuta travels were adventurous. He traveled many cities and met new people. He fell ill andagain traveled. He didn’t stop, he was more enthusiastic every time he traveled. Even after his illness he continued to travel and discovered new things. He visited Madina and Makkah and he learnt from the holy men and prayed for week. This shows that Ibn Battuta not just traveled for the sake of adventure but he learnt holy things too. On his journey to Waist he came across odd thing of men eating snakes and fire.

 

7) Ibn Battuta travelled around the world for various reasons. What would be your reasons to travel?

Answer: I would love to travel to many cities as much as I can. Travelling gives you energy. I want to explore places and meet new people. I want to try new dishes and do exciting things that I have never done before.
