Age Criteria

Important Details For Admission Eligibility

Student seeking admission in CBSE school must fulfill the following criteria:

• Must be already studying in CBSE affiliated or CBSE schools.
• Should have cleared the entrance exam for the respective class.
• Should satisfy the age criteria set by the state / UT in which your desired school is located.
• Should have TC (Transfer certificate) from the previous school in case of transfer from one CBSE school to another.
• Date of birth certificate, previous class mark sheet and other documents listed above.
• Students seeking admission in CBSE schools in 9th class should take the admission before 1st of August and no application will be tolerated after that. However relaxation can be given if the circumstances were unavoidable and they have the permission of either principal, CBSE/ competent authority.

Admission Process

• Register for the class interested through the official website provided here where you can enter the school you want admission in such as KVS/ NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA SAMITI/ ETC.
• A specific number is allotted to the student at the time of admission called as ” Admission number” which is very important as it will help the student get all the documents even after leaving the school. Make sure to store that .
• If you’re taking transfer from any school, then TC ( transfer certificate) should be produced so as to take a fresh admission in the class. If there is a transfer of board such as from State board to CBSE then kindly contact your school about the documents required.
• The class provided to the TC student from previous school will be same and nobody will be entitled to take admission in upper class when taking admission in the new school.
• A student leaving school or getting a transfer shall be entitled to the transfer certificate once she/he has paid all the dues such as library clearance, sports etc. clearance.
• In any case of misconduct the school is entitled to report the Board about it and that student might not be able to take admission in that school further.
