Ans- On a certain week it had rained heavily and the water of the river Brahmaputra had risen, people were panicked thinking that it would cause a flood.

Up till they reached a hill above the floodwater, he grasped Moni Baidew by the arm and assisted her in staying afloat. Also rescued and brought to the mound was the doctor. Dambaru and the other two men managed to cling to the capsized boat that was on the verge of being washed away. With the tubs secured to the boat, they were also able to remove the water.
