Solve the Following.
1.) How many kilometers will be in 400 meters?
400 meters = 400 / 1000 kilometer = 0.4 kilometer.
2.) 200 meters = 200/1000 kilometer = 0.2 kilometer.
3.) 800 meters = 800/1000 kilometer = 0.8 kilometer.
4.) 1000 meters = 1000/1000 kilometer = 1 kilometer.
5.) 3000 meters = 3000/1000 kilometer = 3 kilometer.
Conversion of larger units into smaller units :
1.) 3 meter
3 meter =3 × 100 cm.
= 300 cm.
2.) 5 meter
5 meter =5 × 100 cm.
= 500 cm.
3.) 12 m. 45 cm.
12 m. =1 2 × 100 cm. = 1200 cm.
Therefore, 12 m. 45 cm.
= (1200 + 45) cm. = 1245 cm.
4.) 2 m. 70 cm.
2 m. = 2 × 100 cm. = 200 cm.
Therefore, 2 m. 70 cm.
= (200 + 70) cm.
= 270 cm.
5.) 20 m. 82 cm.
20 m. = 20 × 100 cm. = 2000 cm.
Therefore, 20 m. 82 cm.
= (2000 + 82) cm.
= 2082 cm.
6.) 25 m. 7 cm.
25 m. = 25 × 100 cm. = 2500 cm.
Therefore, 25 m. 7 cm.
= (2500 + 7) cm.

Convert meter into milimeter :
1 centimeter = 10 milimeter,
1 meter =1000 milimeter.
1.) 2 meter.
2 meter == 2 × 1000 milimeters = 2000 milimeters or mm.
2.) 70 meters 26 centimeters
70 meters = 70 × 1000 milimeters
= 70000 milimeters
And 26 centimeters = 26 × 10 milimeters = 260 milimeters.
Hence,70 meters 26 centimeters
= 70000 m.m + 260 m.m
= (70000 + 260) mm . = 70260 mm.
3.) 7 meter.
7 meter == 7 × 1000 milimeters = 7000 milimeters or mm.
4.) 17 meters 15 centimeters
17 meters = 17 × 1000 milimeters
= 17000 milimeters
And 15 centimeters = 15 × 10 milimeters = 150 milimeters.
Hence,17 meters 15 centimeters
= 17000 m.m + 150 m.m
= (17000 + 150) mm . = 17150 mm.
5.) 23 meters 7 centimeters
23 meters = 23 × 1000 milimeters
= 23000 milimeters
And 7 centimeters = 7 × 10 milimeters = 70 milimeters.
Hence,23 meters 7 centimeters
= 23000 m.m + 70 m.m
= (23000 + 70) mm . = 23070 mm.
6.) 12 meters 5 centimeters 45 milimeter
12 meters = 12 × 1000 milimeters
= 12000 milimeters
And 5 centimeters = 5 × 10 milimeters = 50 milimeters.
Hence,12 meters 5 centimeters 45 milimeter
= 12000 m.m + 50 m.m + 45 mm
= (12000 + 50 + 45) mm . = 12095 mm.
