( 1 ) Match the following sentences to the picture of the person who said them :

a ) “ I ‘ m afraid of wild animals ,.”

Answer : Anup

Explanation :  It was Anup who said that he usually feels terrified at the glance of wild animals.

 

b ) “ If you are in danger , I ‘ ll help you”

Answer : Tipin

Explanation : Tipin said to Anup that if he faces any kind of dangerous situation, then Tipin will always render his support .

 

c ) “ Never trust someone who doesn’t help you”.

Answer : Anup

Explanation : Anup said to Tipin that the bear warned him that one should never believe a person who doesn’t render their support at the time of need.

 

( 2 ) Let’s see how much we have understood:

a ) Who were Anup and Tipin ?

Answer : Anup and Tipin maintained a friendly relation with one another .  They both were companions.

 

b ) Who climbed up a tree ?

With an aim of safeguarding himself from the attack of a big black bear, Tipin mounted  up a tree .

 

c ) Why did he climbed up a tree ?

Tipin mounted up a tree because he thought that , this would be the safest place for him to get rid of the hold of a big black bear. This in turn , will help him to protect himself from the attack of the bear.

 

d ) Who lay down on the ground ?

After seeing a big black bear turning out of the forest , Anup became extremely frightened. As , Anup lacked the required skills to climb up a tree , so he laid downon the ground in order to safe guard himself from the attack of a huge black bear.

 

e ) Why did the bear moved away ?

As , Anup was lying down on the ground due to this reason the bear conceived that Anup was no more alive. Anup was equipped with an idea that  bear always refrains himself from touching any body that is not alive and this idea was provided to him by his parents . Owing to this reason, the bear reverted back.

 

f ) Who do you like the most —– Anup or Tipin ? Why ?

I prefer Anup the most in comparison to Tipin .  I like Anup because he is very intelligent and knows how to act in accordance with a specific situation. After perceiving a huge black bear appearing out of the forest, Anup got terrified but he knew how to overcome from any difficult situations. As , he lacked the sufficient skills to climb up a tree but with his instant intellectual capacity he handled the situation very cleverly . When he pretended to be dead by lying on the ground, the bear conceived that he was no more alive and departed from that place . So, in this way Anup protected himself by using his creative ability . On the other hand , Tipin was not a trustworthy friend of Anup because Tipin failed to render any kind of help to Anup at the time of his need. Due to this reason , I don’t like Tipin.

 

( 3 ) Read :

Question 1 . What did Tipin do ?

Answer 1 . He ran and climbed up a tree.

Question 2. What did the beer do ?

Answer 2 . The bear came to Anup and sniffed at him.

Wild – Residing in natural surroundings, that lacks the requisite domestication or regulation.
