4.) By giving each of the woodcutters some bengalgram that had been soaked and some cold water, Ratnanka had obtained the fuel. For a price of two rupees, Ratnanka gave out the firewood in the city. With the remaining rupee, he bought a Kuncham of Bengalgram and handed one rupee to his grandmother for savings. With cold water, he sat under the same tree and soaked one kg of this each day. During the city’s firewood shortage, he gathered numerous cartloads of fuel in a month and sold it. The firewood so earned him a hundred gold coins.

5.) Ratnanka procured a gold-plated rat, placed it on a silver tray, and ceremoniously showed it. He took the lead when the procession reached Yakshadatta’s house. Ratnanka informed Yakshadatta that he had grown affluent due to his favour. He also informed him that he had gotten wealthy as a result of his wise advise and the money he had borrowed from him. He informed Yakshadatta that he had come to settle his debt with a golden rat and begged him to take it as a sign of his gratitude. Ratnanka expressed her gratitude to Yakshadatta in this manner.
