COMPREHENSION

Answer the following questions.

Answers:

1.) Dr.Vempati Chinna Satyam left home at 18 to pursue his dream of becoming successful in his field of passion. After years of hard work, he achieved his goal. So, yes, Dr.Vempati Chinna Satyam was successful.

2.) (c) He was not determined or confident about his destiny.

3.) I agree with this statement. Kuchipudi was created in the village of Kuchipudi and performed annually in temples and streets during festivals. In ancient times, it was practised only by men. Great gurus such as VedantamLakshminarayana and Chinta Krishna Murthy enriched and transformed the art form, but it was not very popular. It wasn’t given the same respect as other dance forms. The 18-year-old boy left his village to try to improve Kuchipudi, and he eventually succeeded.

4.) It is perfectly fine to refer to him as Dr.Vempati. He was singularly responsible for popularizing Kuchipudi. Since he was a young boy, he had been devoted to Kuchipudi. Even though his performance wasn’t great in the beginning, he didn’t give up. Tadepalli Peraiah Sastry and VedantamLakshminarayanaSastry taught him the challenging aspects of the Kuchipudi style. He was greatly motivated by them. Later, he made significant contributions to Kuchipudi’s growth and emergence as a fully developed dance style. Therefore, it is accurate to call him Dr.Vempati.
