Answers:
.) The children work in fields, stores, hotels, tea stalls, automobile shops, coal and iron mines, jinning mills, and so on.
.) The child’s blood-colored eye is referred to as the “reddest blossom.” The child becomes pallid because they are so exhausted.
.) The children got exhausted quickly. They were unable to run or jump like a typical child. They wanted some sleep. They don’t play around. Their lives were indeed making them very miserable.
.) Children who were working do not enjoy their lives. They were unable to find any recreational time.
.) If the factory owner had written the poem, he would have noted that the children were not completing their tasks properly. He would claim that they were relaxing while working, and that they needed to work harder.
.) The poet expresses sympathy for the child laborers. She believed that their lives were extremely terrible. She conveyed her mindset with phrases like “we are exhausted and we can’t jump or leap,” “Our knees upon our faces,” “we drag our burden tiring,” and “we drive the wheels of iron.”
