I.) Answer the following questions:
1.) Who is the speaker of this poem? Guess her age. Support your answer.
Ans: The speaker is a girl, as seen in the book’s illustration. She is said to be 11 years old and may be in VII Standard. It’s because she’s carrying a school backpack.
2.) What is the speaker’s complaint?
Ans: She says that, despite their little size, they are compelled to study / learn excessively, and she so refuses to attend school.
*3.) How would you feel if a scientist cloned you?
Ans: I would have mixed feelings regarding this. I don’t know exactly if I would be happy or not.
4.) What is the speaker’s concern? Which line in the poem shows it?
Ans: Because scientists make quick improvements, the speaker is concerned about learning excessively for his age and ability.

How is this statement true in view of the speaker’s view? What is your view?
Ans: Pigs and sheep are being cloned by scientists. Stem cells are being grown by biologists. Geoscientists are discovering fissures in our planet. Archaeologists are unearthing relics and bones. They’re all undertaking these actions and proclaiming that things are changing. Therefore the speaker thinks that my viewpoint is the same as his.

Ans: Archeologist—a scientist who examines ancient inhabitants and societies by unearthing and studying fossilized remains as basic as an arrowpoint or as complicated as the remnants of an ancient village. Archeologists research both ancient cultures and contemporary historic occupants.
